DISCHARGE DEVICE

FOAM CHAMBER

It is a fixed type foam fire-extinguishing system that is installed on the upper side of combustible oil storage tank and discharges the foam to the surface of fluid stored inside the tank in case of fire to separate oxygen from air. When the aqueous solution mixed with the foam agent is released through the orifice inside the foam chamber, the barrier film for preventing the backflow of oil mist ruptures and the low-expansion foam is generated by mixing the aqueous solution and the inhaled air.
The foam is not scattered by the deflector installed on the inner wall of the tank, but flows along the inner wall,
and flows on the surface of the oil. Vapor seal for blocking the inside of the foam chamber includes seal glass and a rupture disc. It prevents oil mist and gas generated from stored oil etc. from entering the piping connected to the foam chamber to protect life and damage of equipment, which ruptures and releases foam.
A deflector includes type II used for a cone roof tank and floating roof tank.
Inlet pressure should be at least 3.5 barg or higher when installing a foam chamber.

FOAM CHAMBER – Square Type

It is a test hole attachment type to facilitate foam release test. It is attached to the discharge port, so it is safer from oil mist in case of fire. It is also convenient to use the external test hole cover for foam release test.

FOAM MAKER

It is fixed to a foam fire-fighting line of oil storage tank and generates low-expansion air bubbles in case of fire. It discharges to the lower part of the tank to block and extinguish fire by forming foam film on the oil surface. It is low-expansion foaming equipment used in the sub-surface injection system foam equipment.

DEFLECTOR

It shall be installed in such a way that the expansion foam made in the foam chamber during the fire is scattered so that the flame can reach the oil surface which is a combustible material without evaporation.
Foam attached to the inner wall of the tank connected to the foam chamber vent hole is not scattered but flows along the inner wall of
tank so that the contact between the combustible material and the air is blocked, allowing cooling extinguishing to be rapidly performed.
It includes type II and special type, and is made of carbon steel or stainless steel.

VAPOR SEAL

It is installed inside the foam chamber in order to prevent the leakage of harmful substances such as oil mist generated from the combustible substance stored in the tank and to prevent damage of
the fire extinguishing equipment due to explosion in case of fire. Seal glass made of glass is mainly used, but rupture disc may be used depending on the type of stored substances or when the oil mist pressure is high.

RISER STRAINER (SL-59RS)

It is a filtration device for preventing foreign matter from entering,
which is installed in the lower part of the piping of the foam chamber fire extinguishing system.
Foreign substances such as sand, rust and metal impurities are filtered by the built-in metal screen and accumulated at the bottom of the outer part of the screen. And foreign substances generated by corrosion inside the pipe connected to the foam chamber are accumulated at the bottom of the inner part of the screen, thereby preventing degradation due to foreign substances when discharging foam. Re-assembling is also easy after removing foreign materials by detaching the lower cover flange.

MEDIUM EXPANSION FOAM NOZZLE

It is a small tube to rapidly extinguish fire by discharging large amount of foam with small amount of water mixed with foam agents higher than 50 times in oil, gas, vehicle and general fire. It is lightweight and easy to use, which includes a movable type that can be used by connecting to a fire hose, and a fixed type that is installed around dangerous materials. The movable type is equipped with a ball valve, a pressure gauge and a handle, so it is quick and convenient to respond the situation on the fire scene. The fixed type is also manufactured by flannel type or pipe screw type.

HIGH EXPANSION FOAM GENERATOR

This generates high expansion foam with self-driving force generated while passing through a nozzle without
external power to extinguish fire. The blowing fan operates when water mixed with the foaming agent is sprayed on the foam generating screen through the nozzle. At this time, the wind pushes water sprayed on the screen, creating small, stable foam. Thus formed high-expansion foam covers or encloses the object to be fired, thereby blocking the surrounding air.
There are fixed and movable types, and some products can send the foam farther and precisely when using the foam-discharging tube. It is mainly suitable for the production and storage facilities of dangerous goods such as oil, gas, chemical, etc., and places such as aircraft hangars, ships, tunnels, warehouses, etc.

HIGH EXPANSION GENERATOR (High-expansion generator with a built-in mixer)

It is a high expansion generator which can make high expansion foam at least 500 times in volume.
As it is equipped with a mixer, it is possible to inhale the foam liquid itself.
The rotating force of the blowing fan by the built-in turbine generates strong wind speed, so that the expansion foam can be pushed out at a high speed, sending the foam away quickly when attaching a foam discharging tube.
It has a function to exhaust fume such as toxic gas in a confined area with a built-in by-pass valve and a nozzle shutoff valve, and movable-type with wheels and fixed-type products are also available.
